As a key clinical discipline and specialty in Guangdong Province, the Department of Orthopaedics Surgery focuses on joint replacement, spinal orthopedics and reconstruction of limb function. Recently, we have carried out a series of difficult surgeries including complex artificial joints replacement of hips and knees, minimally invasive knee- and hip- preserving surgery, orthopedics for spinal deformity, anterior and posterior spinal decompression and internal fixation of spine, minimally invasive spinal surgery, minimally invasive arthroscopy of the joints, orthopedics for limb deformity and functional reconstruction, severe trauma repair, as well as other conventional, complex, and precise surgeries in orthopaedics. At present, Department of Orthopaedics Surgery has divided into several subspecialty, through which forming a specialized development model of "different subspecialties have different characteristics and each surgeons have their own strengths". In particular, we have accumulated much more clinical experience in orthopedics for complex spinal deformity, severely deformed hip or knee replacement, revision surgery, and Latarjet surgery for rotator cuff injury using arthroscopy, reaching the international advanced and domestic leading level. 影像醫(yī)學(xué)與核醫(yī)學(xué)學(xué)科作為廣東省特色重點(diǎn)學(xué)科、省臨床重點(diǎn)?？啤⒅榻瓕W(xué)者設(shè)崗學(xué)科，依托國際先進(jìn)的影像設(shè)備的平臺(tái)優(yōu)勢(shì)，以分子影像與功能影像技術(shù)為核心，通過基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)、分子生物學(xué)、藥學(xué)、化學(xué)、計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)等多學(xué)科的交叉與融合，形成了基于分子影像與功能影像的多種腫瘤和神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)疾病的發(fā)生發(fā)展機(jī)理、診斷、療效及預(yù)后分析的精準(zhǔn)可視化定量評(píng)估新技術(shù)。在PET/CT-MRI腫瘤療效定量早期評(píng)估，腦缺血性疾病、腦腫瘤性疾病、精神疾病的多模態(tài)神經(jīng)影像評(píng)估，腫瘤影像組學(xué)的臨床應(yīng)用，正電子藥物研發(fā)與臨床轉(zhuǎn)化等領(lǐng)域達(dá)到國際先進(jìn)和國內(nèi)領(lǐng)先水平。作為中華醫(yī)學(xué)會(huì)核醫(yī)學(xué)分會(huì)常委兼PET與分子影像學(xué)組組長單位，在全國享有很高的聲譽(yù)和學(xué)術(shù)地位。

The medical imaging and nuclear medicine discipline in Jinan University has been awarded the characteristics of Key Discipline Project, Key Clinical Specialties and the Pearl River Scholars in Guangdong Province. Relying on the advantages of medical imaging equipment as well as molecular and functional imaging technology, this discipline has established a novel visualizing research system for deep understanding of pathological mechanism, accurate diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of various tumors and neurological diseases via multi-discipline crossing research including basic medicine, molecular biology, pharmacy, chemistry and computer science. In particular, the basic and clinical research in this discipline has reached advanced level in the fields of quantitative early evaluation of tumor therapy response based on the PET/CT-MRI multimodal imaging system, multimodal neuroimaging investigation of cerebral ischemic, brain neoplastic and psychiatric diseases, clinical application of tumor radiomics as well as radiopharmaceutical development and clinical transformation, etc. As a member of the standing committee and the leader of PET & molecular imaging unit in the Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine, this discipline enjoys a high reputation and academic status in China.
